Dr. Crabbe is a contributing editor to Horse and Rider magazine and a frequent
contributor and member of the advisory board for Dressage Today magazine. Her
articles have won numerous American Horse Publications awards, and in 2007 she
saw her book Comprehensive Guide to Equine Veterinary Medicine published
by Sterling publishing, a large New York publishing company. She is an avid dressage rider and competitor with several ODS and USDF regional championships on her resume, and is a graduate with distinction from the USDF-L judges program. In addition, she is a former board member of the Northwest Equine Practitioners Association and the Oregon Dressage Society, and currently serves on the breeding technology committee for the American Hanoverian Society. Her particular interests are management of the performance horse in competition, and reproductive technologies including artificial insemination and embryo transfer. She lives on the PCS farm property with her husband, Bob, a board certified veterinary internist, and
two daughters Katie and Jamie. The family is completed by three rescued dogs, 6 horses and 2 ponies. |

Jennifer Posey, DVM
She is interested in all areas of equine medicine, and is responsible for the
dentistry program at PCS. She is an AERC (American Endurance Ride Conference)
certified ride veterinarian and is currently on staff for the Foothills of the
Cascades ride in Molalla. In addition, she is heading up the efforts here at PCS
for creating a disaster management plan for our area. Dr. Posey grew up in a Western Saddle, and spent her youth actively involved in She currently lives in Molalla with her husband Ben, their daughter Tegan and two dogs Maverick
and Shadow. |

Elizabeth Fortier, DVM
Dr Fortier is currently working with Dr. Posey to manage the dentistry services at PCS, and has a stron While Thoroughbred racing has been her particular interest, Dr Fortier has a life-long involvement in many Sporthorse disiplines. A hometown girl, she has returned to Portland where she grew up riding both over fences and in the dressage arena. Always up for a challenge, she has a soft spot for problem children and spent most of her time riding other people's wild horses rather than competing. Dr Fortier lives in Lake Oswego, along with two extremely fat orange and white cats. She still spends her off hours in the saddle, riding anything she can get her hands on. |
